Brought the Nikon D40 to the Chicago History Museum last Saturday with the family. So many terrific exhibits - and I love that it's big enough to have something interesting for everyone, but not so huge as to overwhelm. Plus a great cafe in a beautiful space with a surprisingly wide-ranging menu. I bought a family membership that very day.
But I digress. My point today is: thank you, Chicago History Museum, for putting this can of hot dogs on display, because you gave me the once-in-a-lifetime chance to say the following to our son, loudly enough to be heard by others:
I can't talk now; I'm taking pictures of wieners.
Check out the appetizing tater salad nestled in there. Mm-mmm, brine.

Just another reason to enjoy having a son:)
You said it, Rebecca! We enjoy our sons & daughters both; each one brings their own dish to the party.
