George Clinton, the original Dr. Funkenstein, creator of Parliament Funkadelic, wonders such as Atomic Dog, Do Fries Go With That Shake?, and influencer of so many who came after, is fighting for the rights to his own songs and a refurbished studio. He's partway through an Indiegogo fundraising campaign that runs out on April 16, and they're just under halfway to their goal of $50,000.
Let me tell you something, bub: nothing on this green earth will make a funk lover feel happier than sending George Clinton 35 bucks. To get a personal shout-out, typed by the master himself, was a totally unexpected bonus. I'll never wash this blog post again...
