Throwing up on the CTA - or by a CTA worker?

But anyway, there is a real story, more of a vignette, really.  Walking west on Lake Street in Chicago's beautiful Loop yesterday, 5:30pm, setting sun ahead of me backlighting everybody's iced drinks as they walk to the train.  Idyllic.

I cross State Street to find a CTA worker standing on the curb with a bottle of water.  I catch him spitting out a big mouthful, and I think, "boy, that is a LOT of water - how can he hold that much water in his mouth?"  He rears back for a second and then, well.  It's not water any more.  The sick thing is that it was all so photogenically lit - his barf is all splashy and backlit by the setting sun - and NOBODY NOTICED because there was a train going by overhead and everybody else was talking or texting on their phones.

As my old friend Lynne used to say, "Mm-MM, what's for dinner, Grandpa?"
